I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel." The Pope, who grew up facing the evils of Hitler and Stalin, knows evil when he sees it. Although we can all endlessly argue over the Pope's effectiveness in curtailing abuses within his Church, his accomplishments external to Catholicism are impressive.

In the end, the Pope did convince the leaders of Mexico, Chile, Cameroon, and Guinea to oppose the U.S. resolution. If one were to believe in the Book of Revelations, as the Pope fervently does, he can seek solace in scoring a symbolic victory against the Bush administration. Whether Bush represents a dangerous right-wing ideologue who couples his political fanaticism with a neo-Christian blood cult (as I believe) or he is either the anti-Christ or heralds one, the Pope should know he has fought the good battle and has gained the respect and admiration of many non-Catholics around the world."

Bush's "Christian" Blood Cult
Concerns Raised by the Vatican

George W. Bush proclaims himself a born-again Christian. However, Bush and fellow self-anointed neo-Christians like House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, John Ashcroft, and sports arena Book of Revelations carnival hawker Franklin Graham appear to wallow in a "Christian" blood lust cult when it comes to practicing the teachings of the founder of Christianity. This cultist form of Christianity, with its emphasis on death rather than life, is also worrying the leaders of mainstream Christian religions, particularly the Pope.

One only has to check out Bush's record as Governor of Texas to see his own preference for death over life. During his tenure as Governor, Bush presided over a record setting 152 executions, including the 1998 execution of fellow born-again Christian Karla Faye Tucker, a convicted murderer who later led a prison ministry. Forty of Bush's executions were carried out in 2000, the year the Bush presidential campaign was spotlighting their candidate's strong law enforcement record. The Washington Post's Richard Cohen reported in October 2000 that one of the execution chamber's "tie-down team" members, Fred Allen, had to prepare so many people for lethal injections during 2000, he quit his job in disgust.

Bush mocked Tucker's appeal for clemency. In an interview with Talk magazine, Bush imitated Tucker's appeal for him to spare her life - pursing his lips, squinting his eyes, and in a squeaky voice saying, "Please don't kill me." That went too far for former GOP presidential candidate Gary Bauer, himself an evangelical Christian. "I think it is nothing short of unbelievable that the governor of a major state running for president thought it was acceptable to mock a woman he decided to put to death," said Bauer.

A former Texas Department of Public Safety officer, a devout Roman Catholic, told this reporter that evidence to the contrary, Bush was more than happy to ignore DNA data and documented cases of prosecutorial misconduct to send innocent people to the Huntsville, Texas lethal injection chamber. He said the number of executed mentally retarded, African Americans, and those who committed capital crimes as minors was proof that Bush was insensitive and a "phony Christian." When faced with similar problems in Illinois, Governor George Ryan, a Republican, commuted the death sentences of his state's death row inmates and released others after discovering they were wrongfully convicted. Yet the Republican Party is pillorying Ryan and John Ashcroft's Justice Department continues to investigate the former Governor for political malfeasance as if Bush and Ashcroft are without sin in such matters. Hypocrisy certainly rules in the Republican Party.

Bush's blood lust has been extended across the globe. He has given the CIA authority to assassinate those deemed a threat to U.S. national interests. Bush has virtually suspended Executive Orders 11905 (Gerald Ford), 12306 (Jimmy Carter), and 12333 (Ronald Reagan) which prohibit the assassination of foreign leaders. Bush's determination to kill Saddam Hussein, his family, and his top leaders with precision-guided missiles and tactical nuclear weapon-like Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bombs is yet another indication of Bush's disregard for his Republican and Democratic predecessors. It now appears that in his zeal to kill Hussein, innocent civilian patrons of a Baghdad restaurant were killed by one of Bush's precision Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs). Like it or not, Saddam Hussein was recognized by over 100 nations as the leader of Iraq -- a member state of the United Nations. Hussein, like North Korea' Kim Jong Il, Syria's Bashir Assad, and Iran's Mohammed Khatami, are covered by Executive Order 12333, which the Bush mouthpieces claim is still in effect. Bush's "Christian" blood cult sees no other option than death for those who become his enemies. This doctrine is found no place in Christian theology.

Bush has not once prayed for the innocent civilians who died as a result of the U.S. attack on Iraq. He constantly "embeds" himself with the military at Goebbels-like speech fests and makes constant references to God when he refers to America's "victory" in Iraq, as if God endorses his sordid killing spree. He makes no mention of the children, women, and old men killed by America's "precision-guided" missiles and bombs and trigger-happy U.S. troops. In fact, Bush revels in indiscriminate blood letting. Since he never experienced such killing in Southeast Asia, when he was AWOL from his Texas Air National Guard unit, Bush just does not seem to understand the horror of a parent watching one's children having their heads and limbs blown off in a sudden blast of shrapnel or children witnessing their parents burning to death with their own body fat nurturing the flames.

Bush and his advisers, previously warned that Iraq's ancient artifacts and collection of historical documents and books were in danger of being looted or destroyed, instead, sat back while the Baghdad and Mosul museums and Baghdad Library were ransacked and destroyed. Cult leaders have historically attempted to destroy history in order to invent their own. The Soviets tried to obliterate Russia's Orthodox traditions, turning a number of churches into warehouses and animal barns. Cambodia's Pol Pot tried to wipe out Buddhism's famed Angkor Wat shrine in an attempt to stamp out his country's Buddhist history. In March 2001, while they were negotiating with the Bush administration on a natural gas pipeline, Afghanistan's Taliban blew up two massive 1600-year old Buddhas in Bamiyan. The Bush administration, itself run by fanatic religious cultists, barely made a fuss about the loss of the relics. It would not be the first time the cultists within the Bush administration ignored the pillaging of history's treasures.

The ransacking of Iraq's historical treasures is explainable when one considers what the blood cult Christians really think about Islam. Franklin Graham, the heir to the empire built up by his anti-Semitic father, Billy Graham, has decided being anti-Muslim is far more financially rewarding than being anti-Jewish. Billy Graham, history notes from the Nixon tapes, complained about the Jewish stranglehold on the media and Jews being responsible for pornography.

Franklin Graham continues to enjoy his father's unfettered and questionable access to the White House. But in the case of Bush, the younger Graham has a fanatic adherent. Graham has called Islam a "very evil and wicked" religion. He then announces he wants to go to Iraq. Graham obviously sees an opportunity to convert Muslims and unrepentant Eastern Christians, who owe their allegiance to Roman and Greek prelates, to his perverted form of blood cult Christianity. Graham says he is ready to send his Samaritan's Purse missionaries into Iraq to provide assistance. Muslims and mainstream Christians are wary that Graham wants to exchange food, water, and medicine for the baptism of Iraqis into his intolerant brand of Christianity. In the last Gulf War, Graham could not get away with his chicanery. The Desert Storm Commander, General Norman Schwarzkopf, stopped dead in the tracks Graham's plan to send 30,000 Arabic language Bibles to U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia. Today's Pentagon shows no such compunction to put a rein on Graham. It invited him to give a Good Friday sermon at the Pentagon to the consternation of the Defense Department's Muslim employees. To make matters worse, under Bush's "Faith Based Initiative," Graham's Samaritan's Purse stands to receive U.S. government funds for its proselytizing efforts in Iraq, something that should be an affront to every American taxpayer.

Bush's self-proclaimed adherence to Christianity (during one of the presidential debates he said Jesus Christ was his favorite "philosopher") and his constant reference to a new international structure bypassing the United Nations system and long-standing international treaties are worrying the top leadership of the Roman Catholic Church. It did not matter that Bush's own Methodist Church and his parents' Episcopal Church are members of the World Council.

The Ohio secretary of state, J. Kenneth Blackwell, has the support of the state's conservative church leaders.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Christian [JamBoi note: Not!] conservative leaders from scores of Ohio's fastest growing churches are mounting a campaign to win control of local government posts and Republican organizations, starting with the 2006 governor's race.

In a manifesto that is being circulated among church leaders and on the Internet, the group, which is called the Ohio Restoration Project, is planning to mobilize 2,000 evangelical, Baptist, Pentecostal and Roman Catholic leaders in a network of so-called Patriot Pastors to register half a million new voters, enlist activists, train candidates and endorse conservative causes in the next year.

The initial goal is to elect Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell, a conservative Republican, governor in 2006. The group hopes to build grass-roots organizations in Ohio's 88 counties and take control of local Republican organizations.

"The establishment of the Ohio Republican Party is out of touch with its base," said Russell Johnson, the pastor of the Fairfield Christian Church and the principal organizer of the project. "It acts as if it lives in Boston, Mass."

Votergate Article -- Still Attacked from the Reichwing

[Note on Votergate article: A number of posters on blogs like DUand Daily Kos continue to question the validity of my November story on vote fraud in the presidential election, who paid for it, and where and how the money was obtained. These posters -- who appear to be the same individuals and who post in the same style as Freepers -- are likely GOP blog browsers who, like "Jeff Gannon," are out to spread disinformation and false innuendo.

The latest posters now question the authenticity of documents proving a large pedophile ring in the Reagan-Bush administration, speculating they are Karl Rove plants. With the amount of capital sunk by Rove in fooling Dan Rather and 60 Minutes, this is not surprising. This crowd has specialized in fake documents, including those used to get us into a war with Iraq and damaging the reputations of anti-war politicians around the world.

But that ruse is now spent. And Rove knows it. The GOP blog surfers do not, however. In addition, to these GOP posters, one blog and a "vote fraud" web site that claim to be pro-Democrat, have questionable links. One blog is tied to secretive money sources in Ohio and Florida (fancy that), a political dirty tricks operative, and a convicted felon. A vote fraud web site is led by someone who was active in the kooky Perot campaign who once marketed anti-Clinton paraphernalia on the Internet.]

The following article exemplifies how, like the vote fraud, the GOP uses off-shore accounts to commit contract fraud in Iraq. This is the same modus operandi used in Votergate: off-shore accounts, tax havens, illegal money flows, unaccounted for cash, etc. Suggestions to the contrary are another attempt by Rove and his paid web surfers and posters to muddy the waters and keep us off balance.

How a Contractor Cashed In on Iraq

A $33,000 food order in Mosul was billed to the U.S.-led interim government of Iraq at $432,000. Electricity that cost $74,000 was invoiced at $400,000. Even $10 kettles got a 400 percent markup.

Documents unearthed as part of a whistleblower suit against Fairfax, Va.'s Custer Battles reveal for the first time the extent to which the defense contractor is accused of gouging the Coalition Provisional Authority, which governed Iraq following the U.S. invasion of the country in 2003.

Among those documents is a spreadsheet that appears to show the company billing the government nearly $10 million for dozens of items, including food, vehicles, and cooking pots. The total cost to Custer Battles, according to the spreadsheet, was less than $4 million -- a profit margin of 150 percent, far higher than the 25 percent margin allowed under its contract.

For critics of the Bush administration's handling of postwar Iraq, Custer Battles has become something of a symbol of contractor excess during the 14-month period that the Coalition Provisional Authority governed Iraq. The company was able to secure tens of millions of dollars' worth of security and logistical contracts from the CPA -- despite the fact that it didn't even exist until just months before the invasion of Iraq.

Last fall, Custer Battles was suspended from government contracting after Pentagon investigators documented evidence indicating that the company had defrauded the CPA by inflating its costs. The scheme, according to the investigation, involved a series of "sham" companies that were used to produce false invoices and hide the actual costs of items.

Now, much of that evidence is coming to light through the whistleblower suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Legal Times obtained access to the spreadsheet and hundreds of other previously confidential documents from the government's investigation of Custer Battles. The spreadsheet and other documents were provided to Legal Times by the whistleblowers' lawyers, who obtained the material from Custer Battles as part of the discovery process.

A spokeswoman for Custer Battles declined to comment for this article. But a lawyer representing the company in the whistleblower suit, John Boese of the D.C. office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, issued a response to a series of detailed questions referencing the documents. In an e-mailed statement, he said that the issues raised "do not demonstrate any type of fraud or wrong-doing by the company or any of its employees, and the company vigorously denies any such conduct or allegations."

In the statement, Boese also maintains that the documents were subject to a court-issued protective order, and thus "we do not believe it is appropriate to comment on the contents of confidential documents."

Alan Grayson, a lawyer for the plaintiffs, disputes that assessment, saying that the defense "had withdrawn the [confidential] designation" on the documents reviewed by Legal Times.

A TENSE MEETING

Among the documents in the files is an account of a tense Oct. 18, 2003, meeting in Baghdad's Green Zone between Custer Battles' two principals -- Scott Custer and Michael Battles -- and CPA officials.

The tension arose over questions about Custer Battles' performance and billing practices in a contract to provide logistical support for U.S. efforts to distribute the new Iraqi currency.

One attendee at that October meeting was Jeffrey Ottenbreit, a consultant for BearingPoint, a company contracted to manage the currency-distribution project.

According to a signed statement Ottenbreit provided to the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, the meeting between Battles, Custer, and CPA officials was combative. "At one point during the contentious discussion," Ottenbreit states, "both [Custer and Battles] stood from their chairs and threatened to walk out of the room as well as pull their company from the project." (Through a BearingPoint spokesman, Ottenbreit declined comment.)

If CPA officials were suspicious of Custer Battles' billings before the meeting, they were even more so after the pair left.

According to an Air Force memo supporting the company's suspension last fall from government contracting, after the meeting "Battles left a spreadsheet labeled 'Iraq Currency Exchange Logistics Support Requirements,' which was discovered by CPA personnel."

The CPA officials couldn't have been pleased with the numbers they found.

Under its contract, Custer Battles was to file invoices with the government for its costs. It was then eligible to be reimbursed for those costs and could receive an additional 25 percent on top of that as profit. The spreadsheet indicated that Custer Battles, by inflating its costs, was reaping a profit roughly six times the allowable amount.

The day after the spreadsheet was discovered, a Sunday, the Defense Department's inspector general's office informed Custer Battles that it would be conducting a review of the company's only other contract with the CPA in Iraq, a $16.8 million project to provide security for Baghdad's airport.

CONTRACTOR AND CANDIDATE

Scott Custer and Michael Battles, both in their 30s at the outset of the invasion of Iraq, had served together in the U.S. Army.

Custer is a former Army Ranger who had worked for Arlington, Va.-based defense contractor Science Applications International Corp. Battles ran unsuccessfully for Congress as a Republican in Rhode Island in 2002 and, according to the record of Custer's interview with the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, is a former Central Intelligence Agency case officer who was -- according to Custer -- "very active in the Republican Party and speaks to individuals he knows at the White House almost daily."

In the fall of 2002, the two founded Custer Battles as a security firm. Within months, President George W. Bush would order U.S. troops into Iraq. Custer Battles was among the first contractors into Baghdad after the fall of Saddam Hussein and, by the end of June 2003, had managed to win the contract to provide security for Baghdad's airport, a contract Custer told investigators was the first time the company had provided actual security for a site.

Two months later, the company bid on and won the contract to support Iraq's currency distribution. The value of the contract, including allowable profit, would eventually be worth approximately $20 million.

To maximize profit from that $20 million, the Air Force suspension memo says, Custer Battles employed a group of "sham companies" to create bogus invoices that vastly overstated the cost of items.

In an interview with government investigators, Scott Custer acknowledged that Custer Battles set up companies in the Cayman Islands named Secure Global Distribution and Mid-East Leasing.

A third company, MT Holdings -- named after the initials of two Custer Battles employees -- was also set up in the Caymans as a holding company for Secure Global and Mid-East Leasing. The offshore companies, Custer told investigators, were designed to limit Custer Battles' liability in the event that its employees were killed or injured in Iraq and to maintain Custer Battles' image as a security contractor by providing a different brand identity for the company when it was providing logistical work.

But several documents -- the company's suspension memorandum from the Air Force, the signed statement from BearingPoint's Ottenbreit, an internal report written in February 2004 by Custer Battles manager Peter Miskovich, and the statements of the two whistleblowers in the current suit -- suggest that Mid-East Leasing and Secure Global were just two of several companies set up to inflate the company's equipment and supply costs.

Custer told investigators he had set up the companies on the advice of Marc Stanislawczyk, an attorney in the D.C. office of Arnold & Porter. Stanislawczyk declined to comment for this article. Stanislawczyk left Arnold & Porter last month to work in the Wilmington, Del., office of pharmaceuticals firm AstraZeneca.

One way the offshore companies were used was in the project involving Iraqi currency. For its work on the project, Custer Battles was advanced the first $3 million of the contract on the condition that it submit invoices reflecting expenditures as they were made.

In reviewing invoices from suppliers submitted by Custer Battles during the fall of 2003, BearingPoint's Ottenbreit told investigators, one receipt in particular stood out.

It was a bill to Custer Battles from Secure Global for leases on trucks, buses and forklifts. That bill showed Secure Global charging Custer Battles rates of $12,500 per month for a single five-ton truck. (The spreadsheet obtained by CPA officials indicates that Custer Battles' actual cost for a five-ton truck was $5,000 per month.)

Ottenbreit also took notice of the fact that Secure Global listed its address as a post office box in Oakton, Va. Ottenbreit said he was unable to locate any reference to the company in an online search. He then searched for the name of the person from Secure Global who signed the invoice for the trucks, buses and forklifts -- and found that she was an employee of Custer Battles.

According to the Air Force suspension letter, Custer Battles created invoices totaling at least $8.5 million in the name of its companies based in Lebanon and the Caribbean. That conclusion is supported by Miskovich's internal report, Ottenbreit's statement to investigators, and court filings of the whistleblowers.

The Air Force noted in its suspension memo last fall that "[Custer Battles] purchased cabins, trucks, and equipment and created false leases between CB and the sham companies, making it appear that the sham companies were leasing the goods to the CPA through CB. The scheme allowed CB to lease the goods to the CPA at prices exceeding the original cost of the goods."

In his interview with government investigators in January 2004, Custer denied inflating supply costs or using the offshore companies to overbill the CPA. When confronted with the invoice from Secure Global, Custer acknowledged that the name on it was that of a woman who had been his personal secretary at Custer Battles.

DOJ DECISIONS

The whistleblower suit that brought the documents to light is being heard by federal Judge T.S. Ellis III in Alexandria, Va. It was filed by a former Custer Battles manager, William Baldwin, and a subcontractor, Robert Isakson, who accuse the company of defrauding the government.

Under the False Claims Act, whistleblowers can file a qui tam suit against a company for bilking the United States. The Justice Department can then choose to join the suit; if successful, the government can collect three times the amount of damages it sustains, plus penalties and fees. The plaintiffs are also eligible for 15 percent to 30 percent of the claim.
In October, the DOJ, without explanation, declined to join the Custer Battles suit, but gave the whistleblowers permission to proceed in the government's name. A Justice Department spokesman declined comment on the case.

Grayson, the whistleblowers' attorney and a partner in McLean, Va.'s Grayson & Kubli, says that the Justice Department declined to join the suit because of uncertainty over whether the CPA was a part of the federal government.

The court is currently considering that question, and Ellis has asked the DOJ to file a brief stating the government's view of the question. On Feb. 25, the Justice Department told the court it would file a brief by April 1.

One senior Pentagon lawyer told Legal Times that a number of other suits have been filed that will turn on this exact question.

Should the court decide that the False Claims Act does not apply to CPA contracts in the Custer Battles case, procurement attorneys say it's unclear how violations of those contracts can be prosecuted in other cases.

"The government has played this both ways," says Steven Schooner, a government contracts expert at George Washington University Law School. "When it's been to the government's advantage to say the CPA was a federal agency, they've said it was a federal agency. When it wasn't, they've said it wasn't."

I received the following from a friend in Houston:

Was wondering how tall Gannon/Guckert/Gosch is as either he, or a dead ringer for him, showed up at the Houston restaurant I was having a luncheon meeting Friday (March 4) . This guy was probably 5' 9" or so, late 30's/early 40's, athletic build.

Gannon brought his Jeffgannon.com web site back on line on March 4, the same day of this possible "Gannon sighting" in Houston. Gannon's benefector is GOPUSA.com/Talon News Service owner Bobby Eberle who also lives in Houston. Could it be that even after Gannon was outed as a gay male escort who may have had clients in the White House, he is still being funded by Eberle in Houston? Maybe Gannon/Guckert or whoever he really is has these guys over a barrel and can get anything from them -- including a revived web site and $$$ to operate it.

The possible Gannon sighting was at a restaurant on Hwy 59 South across from the Sharpstown Mall in southwest Houston. Bobby Eberle's home address is 2620 Sunday House Dr. South Houston, TX, which, as the crow flies looks about 18 miles from the restaurant. However, both locations are close to the Houston Beltway.

March 3, 2005—The recent scandal involving gay male escort and right-wing faux journalist Jeff Gannon (a.k.a. James Dale Guckert and possibly a few other aliases) is not welcome news for the purported sadomasochistic hedonists in the White House administrations of both George W. and George H. W. Bush.

As with their fascist fellow travelers in Hitler's Germany, Franco's Spain, and "The Colonels'" Greece, many of the fascists associated with the Bush family have a predilection for sex with children and young recruits within the U.S. military. However, since the 1980s, the Bush cabal has been able to keep the GOP's dark secrets away from the disinfectant of sunshine and media attention.

Except for the outbreak of news stories concerning the Franklin Credit Union-Lawrence King-Craig Spence child prostitution scandal in 1989 that involved midnight tours of the White House for underage male sex slaves from Nebraska and reached high into the upper echelons of the elder Bush administration, little has been heard about the sex crimes of top Republicans. That is, until it was revealed that "Jeff Gannon" was intricately tied to GOP operatives ranging from George W. Bush political "Svengali" Karl Rove, to White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, and Texas GOP provocateur Bobby Eberle. In typical Bush scandal fashion, Eberle's "Talon News Service" has disappeared as fast as Jeff Gannon from the James Brady Briefing Room and Doug Wead's secret tapes of Bush from the public ear—tapes that, at the very least, indicated Bush's prior use of marijuana, cocaine, and LSD.

As this writer has previously reported, during the early 1980s, a number of naval officers were implicated in a child pornography ring that extended from Oregon to the San Francisco Bay area and to Chicago and Washington, DC. The story about that ring was covered up by then-Secretary of the Navy John Lehman who engaged in similar cover-ups of the Navy's "Tailhook" scandal involving the sexual assault by naval aviators of women, including at least one underage teen, and the gun turret explosion on the USS Iowa, originally and erroneously blamed by Navy investigators on a despondent gay sailor. The GOP appointed Lehman to the 9-11 Commission, which issued a final report that many victims' families and investigators determined was a whitewash.

The fact that Gannon/Guckert, a male escort who adopted a military theme for his clientele, was made privy to classified information involving CIA covert agent Valerie Plame and her husband's (former Ambassador Joseph Wilson) trip to Niger to investigate possible uranium shipments, has a precedent with prior GOP illegal sexcapades involving national security breaches. The Franklin pedophile cover-up was mirrored by the Navy pedophile affair that also breached national security during the height of the Cold War. The cover-up of the pedophile ring involving senior naval personnel ran right up the chain-of-command to the Pentagon offices of then-Secretary of the Navy Lehman, Assistant Defense Secretary Richard Perle, and Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger and the White House offices of Vice President George H. W. Bush, and Reagan Chief of Staff and close Bush confidant James Baker III.

As someone intimately involved in the investigation of the Navy case and as a victim of the cover-up, this reporter is publishing for the first time correspondence and documents on the Navy affair so that the current Bush sex scandal, "Gannongate," does not go the way of the Nebraska/Washington, DC, Navy, and Abu Ghraib/Guantanamo scandals. (One note of interest: the "X" in the Case Control Number 718XNA refers to the FBI's cross referencing file numbering system. The "X" means that the case is a "X" case–meaning that the case is of extreme sensitivity, the "NA" following the "X" refers to the Navy. There are, in fact, "X Files," but they have nothing to do with aliens but very much to do with high-level government officials engaged in off-the-wall activities, like pedophilia and prostitution).

February 23, 2005—There are interesting connections between the White House credentialed Talon News Service, owned by Houston-based GOP activist Bobby Eberle, Jr., and two other "Talon" entities. One is investment and management company Talon LLC of Detroit, co-founded by Michael T. Timmis, a major contributor to conservative Republican causes. Talon Equity Partners LLC is an adjunct of Talon LLC. The other GOP-connected "Talon" firm is Talon LLC of Houston, a "special purpose entity" established by the now defunct GOP bankroller, Enron.

In April 2000, Enron and LJM2, a co-investment entity headed by Enron Chief Financial Officer Andrew Fastow, set up Talon LLC. Fastow was later indicted and found guilty of multiple counts of fraud. His boss at Enron, CEO Ken Lay, a close friend of and contributor to George W. Bush, was also indicted and is awaiting trial. The Talon entity experienced a 370 percent annualized return on an original investment of preferred Enron stock and made $41 million for LJM2. Investigators in Houston are still trying to determine what happened to Enron's original profits before its stock tanked. There are suspicions that much of the money ended up in well protected and hidden Bush family and GOP coffers.

Timmis is a major contributor to The Fellowship Foundation, a powerful "Christian" fundamentalist operation headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. The Fellowship has interlocking relationships with the Leadership Institute, also of Arlington, Virginia, where Talon White House correspondent "Jeff Gannon," a.k.a. James Dale Guckert, took a two-day course at the institute's Broadcast School of Journalism. The Leadership Institute, headed by Virginia Republican official Morton Blackwell, counts such right-wing members of Congress as Tom DeLay, Frank Wolf, Sam Brownback, John Ensign, Todd Tiahrt, Charles Grassley, James Inhofe, Zach Wamp, and Joseph Pitts as members of its "bi-partisan" congressional Board of Advisors. The above Republican members of Congress are also core members of The Fellowship. Gannon has been linked to Fellowship members who are active in two northern Virginia churches heavily influenced by the Fellowship: Little Falls Presbyterian Church in Arlington and McLean Bible Church in nearby McLean. Gannon is also linked to Rev. Rob Schenk, the founder of Washington's National Community Church, a Pentecostal congregation that counts John and Janet Ashcroft as members. It currently meets in a movie theater at Union Station in Washington, DC.

The Fellowship is financially backed by companies with lucrative defense contracts with the Pentagon, many of which are based in northern Virginia. Some of these companies are involved with prisoner detention contracts in Iraq, Cuba, and Afghanistan.

Where Those Who Now Run the U.S. Government Came From and Where They Are Taking Us

After several months of in-depth research and, at first, seemingly unrelated conversations with former high-level intelligence officials, lawyers, politicians, religious figures, other investigative journalists, and researchers, I can now report on a criminal conspiracy so vast and monstrous it defies imagination. Using “Christian” groups as tax-exempt and cleverly camouflaged covers, wealthy right-wing businessmen and “clergy” have now assumed firm control over the biggest prize of all – the government of the United States of America. First, some housekeeping is in order. My use of the term “Christian” is merely to clearly identify the criminal conspirators who have chosen to misuse their self-avowed devotion to Jesus Christ to advance a very un-Christian agenda. The term “Christian Mafia” is what several Washington politicians have termed the major conspirators and it is not intended to debase Christians or infer that they are criminals . I will also use the term Nazi – not for shock value – but to properly tag the political affiliations of the early founders of the so-called “Christian” power cult called the Fellowship. The most important element of this story is that a destructive religious movement has now achieved almost total control over the machinery of government of the United States – its executive, its legislature, several state governments, and soon, the federal judiciary, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

The United States has experienced religious and cult hucksters throughout its history, from Cotton Mather and his Salem witch burners to Billy Sunday, Father Charles Coughlin, Charles Manson, Jim Jones, David Koresh, Marshall Applewhite, and others. But none have ever achieved the kind of power now possessed by a powerful and secretive group of conservative politicians and wealthy businessmen in the United States and abroad who are known among their adherents and friends as The Fellowship or The Family. The Fellowship and its predecessor organizations have used Jesus in the same way that McDonald’s uses golden arches and Coca Cola uses its stylized script lettering. Jesus is a logo and a slogan for the Fellowship. Jesus is used to justify the Fellowship’s access to the highest levels of government and business in the same way Santa Claus entices children into department stores and malls during the Christmas shopping season.

When the Founders of our nation constitutionally separated Church and State, the idea of the Fellowship taking over the government would have been their worst nightmare. The Fellowship has been around under various names since 1935. Its stealth existence has been perpetuated by its organization into small cells, a pyramid organization of “correspondents,” “associates,” “friends,” “members,” and “core members,” tax-exempt status for its foundations, and its protection by the highest echelons of the our own government and those abroad.

The Roots of the Fellowship

The roots of the Fellowship go back to the 1930s and a Norwegian immigrant and Methodist minister named Abraham Vereide. According to Fellowship archives maintained at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in Illinois, Vereide, who immigrated from Norway in 1905, began an outreach ministry in Seattle in April 1935. But his religious outreach involved nothing more than pushing for an anti-Communist, anti-union, anti-Socialist, and pro-Nazi German political agenda. A loose organization and secrecy were paramount for Vereide. Fellowship archives state that Vereide wanted his movement to “carry out its objective through personal, trusting, informal, unpublicized contact between people.” Vereide’s establishment of his Prayer Breakfast Movement for anti-Socialist and anti-International Workers of the World (IWW or “Wobblies”) Seattle businessmen in 1935 coincided with the establishment of another pro-Nazi German organization in the United States, the German-American Bund. Vereide saw his prayer movement replacing labor unions.

Marvin Dips into the Security Pie
Another Fortunate Bush Brother

The full effects of the 2001 so-called "USA Patriot Act" have not yet been felt, fortunately. But one of its first effects has been to benefit the president's brother, Marvin.

Marvin P. Bush, one of George W. Bush's three younger brothers, is co-founder and partner in Winston Partners, a private investment firm in Alexandria, Va. Winston Partners in turn is part of a larger venture capital entity called the Chatterjee Group, headed by venture capitalist Purnendu Chatterjee. (Venture capital firms provide money to start-up businesses and other companies, usually in return for equity and some managerial say in the company.)

Through this and other business relationships, this Bush sibling is positioned to do very well in high-tech activities as a result of provisions of the Patriot Act.

Securities and Exchange Commission filings show that the Chatterjee Group consists of Winston Partners, L.P.; and a half-dozen other entities with addresses in the Cayman Islands, the Netherlands Antilles, the Isle of Man and Delaware.

Bush's partner is Scott Andrews, with whom he went to school. Winston Partners has two branches, hedge funds and private equity funds, engaged in a variety of investments, including global "outsourcing" and offshore information technology.

H.R. 3162, called "The Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act" (or USA Patriot), was designed to prevent money laundering and requires banks to "know their customers."

Inevitably, many companies are aggressively marketing services to make businesses "Patriot Act"-compliant: that is, they sell computer systems to enable banks to argue successfully to Uncle Sam that they're not laundering money for terrorists. One of the most aggressive is Sybase Inc., which developed a "Sybase PATRIOT compliance Solution" months ago. Sybase, which said it wanted foreign banks as customers (it already had a deal with the People's Bank of China), landed Sumitomo Mitsui Bank in time for the October 2002 compliance deadline.

This is where Winston Partners comes in. The Chatterjee Group, including Winston Partners, owns 5.5 million shares in Sybase (Chatterjee businesses also have been paid thousands more shares in Sybase). SEC filings show that Winston Partners LP owns 1,036,075 shares in Sybase; Winston Partners LDC holds 1,317,825 shares; and Winston Partners LLC owns 1,221,837 shares. The shares owned by the subsidiaries are collectively managed in funds for Winston Partners by Pernendu Chatterjee. There is also a Chatterjee Charitable Foundation.

Business for Sybase is business for Bush, and the Patriot Act boosted business.

Not that the Patriot Act is Sybase's only federal conduit. The company is also a significant government contractor (especially nowadays), with contracts from the Agriculture Department, the Navy ($2.9 million in 2001), the Army ($1.8 million in 2001), the Defense Department ($5.3 million in 2001), Commerce, Treasury and the General Services Administration among others. The federal procurement database lists Sybase's total awards for 2001 as $14,754,000.

Sybase is only one of the companies with federal contracts from which Marvin Bush's firm derives financial benefit. Winston Partners' portfolio also includes Amsec Corp., which got Navy contracts worth $37,722,000 in 2001.

The potential for abuse here can hardly be overstated. A branch of the military or other government agency that risked funding cutbacks, for example, could throw up a buffer by awarding a contract benefiting the First Family. Why spend money on a lobbyist in the industry, when you might have one in the White House?

Now let's step back and look at the big picture. The president's brother is marketing to offshore customers (shipping out American jobs, be it noted). He is closely linked to entities marketing "outsourcing" and "global alternative investments" yet more aggressively. Companies associated with them are doing other high-end versions of the same. And some companies in which they have a stake are involved in the most sensitive technology outside nuclear weapons - being marketed simultaneously to the U.S. government, to foreign banks and to the states (Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, New Jersey and New York also purchase from Sybase). This is "security"?

Nor is Marvin Bush the only family member in this picture. His brother Jeb Bush, Florida's governor, is also an investor in the Winston Capital Fund, managed by Marvin Bush's firm. And Indigo Systems Corp., another federal contractor ($2,629,000 in 2001 from Defense and NASA), is substantially backed by The Carlyle Group, the global finance company connected to George H.W. Bush.

As we used to say in Texas, son of a gun.

There is a crying need for oversight and accountability, but the need has yet to be met.

FLIR Systems and Indigo Systems announce merger agreement

Portland, OR & Goleta, CA | 11 November 2003 -- FLIR Systems, Inc. and Indigo Systems Corporation recently announced that they have entered into a Definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger pursuant to which FLIR will acquire Indigo Systems.

Indigo security holders will receive cash consideration of approximately $165 million, and all outstanding Indigo stock options will be converted into options to purchase FLIR stock. The transaction is valued at approximately $190 million.

Indigo, founded in 1996, is a leading developer and supplier of a wide range of infrared imaging products, including cooled and uncooled infrared detectors, camera cores, and finished cameras. Estimated Indigo revenue for calendar year 2003 is approximately $55 million.

"We are extremely happy to announce a merger with Indigo," commented Earl Lewis, Chairman, President, and CEO of FLIR. "As we have publicly stated, one of our key business objectives has been to secure a low-cost, high-quality supply of infrared detectors to help us reduce costs and continue our leadership in the commercial infrared industry. Water pumps: In 1988, the same year Jeb's father became president, Jeb formed a partnership with David Eller, Broward County's Republican fundraiser, to market irrigation and flood control pumps overseas. Bush went to Nigeria, where he pledged his father would increase aid to developing countries, according to Nigerian press reports. Nigeria received $74-million in loans from the federally backed Export-Import Bank of the United States to buy the pumps, giving Jeb a healthy commission. Twelve years later, Nigeria has yet to repay most of the loans.

(So why is Jeb really going to South Asia? To sell these pumps to pump the sea water out of towns and farms?)

Stratasec: Marvin was recruited to join the board of this secretive Virginia security company that serves international corporations and governments. The company is awash in ex-government security and military personnel. Among them: Barry McDaniel, who served during the Reagan years as deputy director of readiness for the U.S. Army Materiel Command; and retired U.S. Air Force General James A. Abrahamson, who served as director of President Reagan's "Star Wars" Strategic Defense Initiative.

The company touts such major customers as Dulles airport near Washington, as well as Los Alamos National Laboratories (where former scientist Wen Ho Lee pleaded guilty to improperly downloading nuclear weapons design secrets).

KuwAm Corp.: The investment company, with roots in Kuwait (the country "liberated" by President Bush's Gulf War), is a large backer of Stratasec. Stratasec chief executive Wirt Walker (cousin) also is a managing director of KuwAm. And KuwAm chairman Mishal Yousef Saud Al Sabah also sits on Stratasec's board.

Interlink: Neil Bush now runs Interlink Management Corp., a Houston business based in the same building as his father's office. Interlink invests in small companies such as Pennsylvania-based Lithium Technology (rechargeable batteries) and represents Universal Display Corp. (flat panel displays) in Asia. Interlink's executives included "Bush Pioneers": fundraisers who have raised at least $100,000 for Dubya's campaign.

Universal Display is putting organic technology on display. This smoking gun is...the election voting machine companies (all run by extreme right-wing [Dominionist], "End Timers") conspired with the homeland security and other database firms -- all conveniently located in FL, OH, and TX -- to rig the vote.

Here is an update of where the investigation is heading -- many strings must be tied together but a clearer picture of how this Election Fraud 04 was done is beginning to emerge. The follow the money trail is leading to some interesting places.

Kay Stephenson, CEO of Datamaxx (she looks like her, but it's not Laura Bush)
She is close to both Jeb Bush and Colin Powell. Powell has visited her a number of times in Tallahassee.

Before Datamaxx was formed, its contracts were about to go to Seisint, a Tampa company allegedly tied to mob money. It operates Accurint, and was recently bought out by Lexis.

Interesting note is that Datamaxx uses Accurint for its database. Datamaxx has made a killing in law enforcement/homeland security contracts after 911.

-- Now people will wonder what this has to do with the election fraud. Here it is in a nutshell. These people, along with ChoicePoint of Dallas, TX, are personal data miners. And Datamaxx is tied to Ohio law enforcement data bases and communications.

Where did the Katherine Harris get the info to throw all those African American voters off the rolls in 2000 in Florida? Public and commercial database records, everything from DMV files to education and insurance records. They red lined poor African American and working class white districts just like credit card and mortgage companies do. And how did they know where to put only 2 voting machines in polling places in Ohio for use by over 3000 voters? Same process. They red lined those districts and knew where to put the Election Day squeeze on.

Fundie churches with names like the Abundant Love Tabernacle and Fellowship Worship Center were great places to pull off this fraud with Blackwell's election officials conspiring with local fundie preachers. (Just a thought, if we have separation of church and state in this country, why the hell do we permit voting to take place in churches, especially where the preachers and lay leaders are corrupt and in on the fix?) Al Gore visited a Buddhist temple in California once and the right wing wanted him impeached!!

Datamaxx has Homeland Security contracts in Ohio, Florida, Iowa and West Virginia. In Ohio, they can send out homeland security alerts using computer networks and wireless PDAs. Guess what? All were swing states and in Warren County, Ohio an unofficial "threat" was "transmitted" to Election Board HQ on Nov. 2. FBI and police said it wasn't them. Well, maybe it was Datamaxx using their retired FBI agents and cops (who were in cahoots with the fundies, Rapps of Triad, O'Dell at Diebold, Ahmanson and McCarthy Group of ES&S, and Blackwell and Taft GOP political machines in Columbus).

As for Seisint, where do they do most of their work? Boca Raton, Florida and Orlando, Florida. Boca is in good old Palm Beach County, where absentee ballots turned up missing before election day. And Orlando -- home of good ole Rep. Tom Feeney, chief touch screen vote rigging suspect and Yang lobbyist, as well as FL Secretary of State Glenda Hood (fitting name), former Mayor of Orlando. And Seisint's new corporate parent is based where? Lexis-Nexis is in Dayton, OHIO.

You see, the more the Bushes fire additional government insiders, the more stuff is leaked to me about this election fraud. This smoking gun is just a bit different than 2000. Instead of disenfranchising over 90,000 black voters in FL by calling them "felons" (and using ChoicePoint data base to do it), this time, the election voting machine companies (all run by extreme right-wing [Dominionist], "End Timers") conspired with the homeland security and other database firms -- all conveniently located in FL, OH, and TX -- to rig the vote.

Researchers should keep focusing on Yang, Seisint, Datamaxx, Accurint, Lexis-Nexis, Triad Government Systems, Diebold, Global Election System, Hart InterCivic, DBT Online and ChoicePoint.

The jury is still out on Affiliated Computer Systems (ACS) of Dallas, but a certain Stephen Goldsmith, former GOP Mayor of Indianapolis, may be into some dirty business there involving red lining districts with high college student voting population (Indiana, home of several large universities, may have had its vote "hacked" as well). Gary Webb was investigating ACS and contract fraud in CA when he committed suicide on Dec. 10.

We also know that Florida DOT investigator Ray Lemme committed suicide in 2003 when he was investigating fraud involving Yang and the FL state government. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Executive Director John Millis committed suicide in 2000 when he was investigating CIA ties toLatin American drug cartels, links that involved the Bush family. State Dept. Iraq intelligence analyst John Kokal committed suicide in late 2003 after he questioned the attack on Iraq. Former CIA official Dr Gus Weiss committed suicide after he, too, questioned the attack on Iraq in late 2003. Dr David Kelly of Britain's MOD committed suicide after he questioned the validity of Iraq WMD reports. Danny Casolaro committed suicide in 1991 after he investigated Bush ties to weapons smuggling and drug deals. Paul Wilcher, a friend of Sarah McClendon, died in his apartment after he picked up on some of Casolaro's research. Charles Ruff and HPSCI's ranking member Julian Dixon dropped dead only weeks apart after being briefed by Millis on CIA-Bush-drug connection.

What was Gary Condit, also of HPSCI, briefed on by Millis? What did Condit tell his friend Chandra Levy, an intern for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Or what did he ask her to find out for him through her Bureau contacts? John F Kennedy Jr was working on a Bush-CIA-covert ops story for his George Magazine when his plane crashed. And what did poor Lori Klausutis discover before her body was discovered in Jan. 2001 in the FL office of GOP Congressman Joe Scarborough (the MSNBC colleague of someone who has made it his cause to rip apart my reporting on this election story)? Cliff Baxter, chief Enron witness for the govt. shot himself before he testified. John Tower had the goods on the Bushes, but his commuter plane crashed and killed him, his daughter and several other passengers. Paul Wellstone and his family and staff? Mel Carnahan? Bush biographer JH Hatfield? Athan Gibbs, the founder of TruVote International, the only clean election machine company. And the list goes on and on. At least those who are merely being fired -- the latest being the Pentagon's Jack Shaw, are getting the easier "treatment" from the Bush Mafia.

There were also anomalous Governor's Elections in Washington and Puerto Rico, where Democrats, expected to win handily, just squeaked through by a fraction of a percent. This is an indication of vote fixing a la FL in 2000 and Ohio, Iowa, NM in 2004. Elections that close with millions of people voting have never happened before in our nation's history.

The Fellowship has some very unsavory founders -- all pro-Nazis: Abraham Vereide, Frank Buchman, and Gustav Gedat, J. Edgar Hoover and James Jesus Angleton were close to the Fellowship.

The use of prison ex-cons like Marion "JR" Horn in KY, John Elder and Jeffrey Dean in WA, and others in the financing and carrying out of the rigging, was mostly arranged through Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministries, an organization that has carte blanche access to anyone deemed of value, epecially computer programmers, after their incarceration and upon their release, especially if they promise service in return for parole.

It also helps that the Fellowship has established strong links to corrupt African governments via fundie missionaries. Guess who's largely behind the Nigerian scams to secretly move dirty oil money from oil-rich Nigeria (and Equatorial Guinea and Angola) into the funding corrupt election manipulators and Enron/Halliburton/AES scams? Some of those "419 emails" have been discovered by US intelligence to contain coded instructions to the money launderers and financial manipulators in the States and in off shore bank havens like the Bahamas and Tortola. The Nigerian scammers operate from the southern Christian south of the country (Lagos and the Niger River Delta) and are in league with fundie Church missions there and in the States.

The Fellowship is now trying to take over government boards in my county of Arlington, VA and are making a major power play in Annapolis, MD. Tom Feeney, Ashcroft, DeLay, Bush (Dubya and Jeb), Cheney, Sean O'Keefe, Condi Rice, John Bolton, Ed Meese, [Charles] Colson, Brownback, Ralph Reed, Frank Wolf, Ernie Fletcher, Katherine Harris, [Newt] Gingrich, JC Watts, Burr, Jindal, Lamar Smith, Zach Wamp, Scalia, Ensign, Kyl, [Kenneth]Blackwell, Bob Ehrlich, Karl Rove, Jack Kemp, James Baker, Clarence Thomas, Tom Coburn, Asa and Tim Hutchinson, Gens. Boykin and Myers, DeMint, Curt Weldon, Grover Norquist, George Allen, [Rick] Santorum, are all in this group. The late Lee Atwater was close to this group.

The Fellowship, which has strong links to the "Rev." Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church, operates in cells and not only takes over governments but also local church congregations to further their goals. Two local congegations taken over by the Fellowship are Falls Church Episcopal and Cherrydale Baptist. They also maintain the private Riverdell School, another way to brainwash young children who are not already being brainwashed by home schooling.

The Prime Minister of Norway has just been outed as a member of this group. In fact, most of the so-called "Coalition of the Willing" nations' leaders are members of The Fellowship, e.g., Tonga, Macedonia, Palau, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Solomon Islands, Uganda, Rwanda, Guatemala, El Salvador, Denmark, Romania, Iceland, Fiji, Georgia, Colombia, possibly also Howard of Australia and Blair of Britain.

The Fellowship believes that ANYTHING is permitted in order to bring about a 1000-yr Kingdom of Christ on Earth, and that includes stealing elections and even murder.

Some of the money used by the Fellowship to obtain real estate and maintain their group came from Saudi Arabia through lucrative defense contracts and pass throughs like the Islamic Institute.

There are links between the Fellowship and other northern Virginia groups In their group homes in Arlington it is obvious they keep the troubled teens of GOP big businessmen and politicians out of sight through a combination of intensive Bible study and "drug treatement." Noelle Bush may have been one of their "Guests/Victims." There should be a focus on Infinity Software of Tallahassee, the place Noelle was put to work when she was busted for trying to illegally obtain prescription drugs in 2002. The Arlington VA Fellowship homes caused a stir in 2003 when one young resident broke into 4 homes in the neighborhood to steal prescription drugs. What is it that these young men and women are afraid of by doing anything to get their hands on Xanax and Valium? One of my neighbors said the teens appear to be unusually "expressionless" for people their age.

One of the really unplesant things about the Fellowship is that they have an international "Youth Corps," so these people don't appear to want to go out of business any time soon. This Youth Corps has a presence in almost every country, from Bhutan to Zambia and Brazil to Albania.

Infinity, like Datamaxx, has contracts with the FL Dept. of Law Enforcement and Dept of Education. FL state auditors chastised Gov. Jeb Bush and his administration for paying Infinity $7.5 million to set up a Web site and do another, much smaller, job in a no-bid contract. Infinity's owner, Tom Lynch, is a big Bush supporter who gave money to the governor's reelection campaign - $500 to Bush in 2002 and $1,000 to the Republican Party in 2001. Also seems that Infinity's contract had a nice little cut out for another company -- Ignite! of Houston, TX -- headed by Bush's brother Neil (of Silverado S&L criminal infamy).

I am getting great support from a number of people inside and outside the government who believe this group must be "outed" and dealt with as any other dangerous cult would be. These are not Jim Jones' followers or Marshall Applewhite's Heavens' Gate people we're talking about. These Fellowship people want to take us all with them. The earthquake and tsunami in the Indian Ocean is just what these people are waiting for -- the more death and destruction the better as far as they are concerned. I suggest we all work together and not against one another to expose these people. Those who hide behind the veil of "non-partisanship" should just keep quiet if they are not going to join the effort. We all have enough to do without incessant carping from those who believe it is wiser to sit on the sidelines. A re-read of William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" may be in order for those who believe neutrality and non-partisanship is the better course. As the son of a WW II refugee from the Nazis, I can tell you that neutrality in times such as these just does not work and is definitely not advised.

When I spoke to Votergate investigative reporter Wayne Madsen last week one of the most startling things that he pointed out is that since so many polling places are at churches, Dominionist cult members who frequently pose as fundamentalist Christians (which they actually are not) and infiltrate churches would have easy access to voting machines. His speculation is that no one would suspect that election fraud would take place in a church and would never think to investigate there.

How much fraudulent voting machine tampering took place this way we will probably never know, but because this election stealing likely took place on multiple levels with the individuals largely unaware of the actions of others who were helping, even fraud participants might discount the enormous impact of their collective actions and could therefore easily convince themselves that their little cheating was both a) justifiable (ie. they did it for "god" and "god's chosen leader", Bush) and b) wasn't that big of a deal since the popular vote (likely also fraudulently altered) went in favor of Bush. Furthermore because those of us who are Christians have become accustomed to apologizing for the over the top excesses of bozo NeoFascist Dominionists like Falwell and Robertson in the mistaken impression that they are Christians so we don't think to suspect them of this monsterous theft of our freedom. News: Election 2004: President Bush to Be Subpoenaed; Blackwell Tries to Avoid Sworn Testimony; Over a Dozen Members of Congress to Challenge Election

In a sign that Votergate news stories will soon become impossible for the mainstream media to ignore, news of ground-breaking developments in the national scandal is now coming so fast and so furiously through internet channels that The Advocate strains to report it all in a timely fashion. Indeed, even an Associated Press article now being carried by all major media outlets, auspiciously entitled "Ohio Recount Ends, Shows Vote Closer," states clearly that "[t]he completion of the recount will not bring an end to questions surrounding the vote in Ohio. A group of voters citing fraud have challenged the election results with the Ohio Supreme Court....[and] the Government Accountability Office, an arm of Congress, also is investigating election problems."

According to the Columbus Free Press, those voters contesting the presidential election in Ohio at the state level have, with legal representation from Alliance for Democracy, scheduled depositions of the President, Vice-President, and the so-called "architect" of the Bush-Cheney 2004 campaign, Karl Rove, for today and tomorrow. An Ohio attorney representing the three men, Kurt Tunnell, claims that the three have not yet been properly served; according to the contestors, the Republican-dominated Ohio Supreme Court bears a legal obligation to serve the necessary subpoenas.

News reports indicate the Court has failed to do so thus far.

Meanwhile, Ohio Republican Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell, who has -- in unsworn statements on television and in print -- termed Ohio's 2004 election "absolutely inspiring," failed to appear for sworn testimony relating to the election. What appeared in his place, instead, was an Expedited Motion for Protective Order seeking to prevent him from ever having to give any "inspiring" testimony under oath.
Which is to say, under penalty of perjury.

As reported in my previous diaries, Wayne Madsen is looking into the connecting link between the various conspirators who rigged our election being the fanatical fascistic right wing cult of Dominionism. While this secretive and devious cult is busy infiltrating the conservative fundamentalist wing of the Christian church, Dominionism in many respects very similar to the right wing Unification Church Moonie cult, is in reality diametrically opposed to the essence of Christianity and the very person Christians consider their God/human originator: Jesus. On this Christmas Day I turn to sort out the true meaning of Chistmas from the parasitic imposter attempting to hijack not only our election, but our culture and our very way of life.

Why take up space in a progressive political diary like dK examining what would appear to be at first a strictly academic theological discussion? Because I believe on this celebration day of Jesus' birthday it is absolutely not a strictly academic theological discussion and that every liberal democrat needs to understand the insidious threat this monstrous deceit holds for our constitutional democracy. It was through very similar infiltrative action that the Nazis in the Third Reich invaded, divided, decimated and neutralized the moderating force that genuine Jesus-imitating love-oriented Christians would otherwise have exerted when the crisis came for the Weimar Republic. Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek, that the meek would inherit the Earth and that the two most important principles of life were to love God, and to love ourselves and each other. He taught us to pray for our enemies and that his spiritual kingdom was more powerful than any nation-state. Jesus taught us that love and charity are the essence of God's desire for the planet and that hate, petty anti-humanistic religiousity and nationalism as religion are abhorrent to God. Through non-violent resistance he was martyred by the Roman imperialists and their puppet right-wing religious bureaurcracy.

What does Dominionism which promotes unjust laws, censureship, ultra-nationalism, imperialism, slavery, violence, and death have to do with the life- and truth-giving generosity of Jesus? Nothing! These are poles apart and should never be confused. To lump Dominionism together with Christianity is the largest mistake a sincere constittuional democratic could make when assessing contemporary American politics. Anyone who tries to tell you that ultimate Love is in anyway related to maximal Hate needs to be immediately challenged and set straight. Hitler was never a Christian and don't let anyone lie to you about that. He was an anti-Christ(ian) and those that follow in his steps are just as anti-Love as he was.

It is impossible to make sense of the political ambitions of the religious right without understanding the information revealed in the articles below. It is NOT just about Christians voting their values. Most Christians, if given the complete information and time to reflect, would reject this agenda.

Mainstream and even some Fundamentalist Christians have been deceived and are being used to promote this agenda. I had the privilege to talk to investigative reporter Wayne Madsen recently and found that his Votergate 2004 investigation has taken an interesting turn. He now strongly suspects that a number of interlocking networks of 1) true-believing religious right Dominionists, 2) PNAC NeoConservatives and 3) cynical corporate greedheads (I'm borrowing that apt term from Bruce Cockburn) have come together to perpetrate amazingly widespread vote rigging. He believes the election fraud was so widespread that it not only tipped the election in Ohio in favor of Bush, but actually padded the national popular vote in favor of Bush and turned a number of U.S. Senate and House races in favor of the Republican contestants.

A fitting introduction to this new line of investigation comes from a recent e-mail Madsen sent me regarding this unholy alliance:

Clarification: What follows is my attempt to convey the essence of what Madsen spoke about. Its not a straight interview format, but rather includes my personal input into where this investigation is going. When I use the word "I" below I mean me, JamBoi. In this way I'll try to distinguish in my writing between my contributions and what Madsen has come up with.

What would motivate these seemingly disparate groups to work together?
The connection that between these various groups seems to be the attitude that "might makes right" or "the end justifies the means". While the Dominionists are austensibly highly religious and one might think therefore highly ethical, aparently the philosophical or theological conviction that Christs' return and reign must play out in the near term exactly as they interpret the Bible, even if that requires that they manipulate history, lie, cheat and steal to ensure it. The PNACer NeoCon and cynical corporate greedhead elements looking to create an American new World Order and profit from it are less mysterious, more familiar to liberals and therefore requires less explanation to this audience.

Okay, what happens when you slam these three sets of Wing nuts together? 1) A mix of fanatical, no-holds-barred wackiligious, 2) PNAC/NeoCon cynical crypto- and outright fascist (ie. G. Gordon Liddy) types and 3) the corporate uber alles types. And all three's interests seem to coincide in the re-election of Bush by any means necessary. Voila. Exreme ideologues all. Delusion-based rather than reality-based. The bottom line on the this alliance's outlook seems to be something to the effect that we can alter reality to align with our ideals if we apply enough belief and force (and perhaps in this case outright election fraud).

Madsen's thinking is that there may not be one giant conspiracy involved here, but rather interelated small conspiracies that spontaneously spring up and happen to have similar aims and methods. A sort of organic coincidental conspiracy if you will. (Now we can get both the Coincidence Theorists and the Conspiracy Theorists together on the same page). :-) Structuraly these folks ironically would have a very similar networking structure as Al Queda and other revolutionary groups. Few would know much beyond their little picture or have insight into the extent of penetration or the corruption of their actions. In this scenario even many of the folks involved in it would not believe the overall effect and might even tend to dismiss it as "conspiracy theory."

Where I (JamBoi) am coming from on the religious question:
First in the interests of full disclosure I need to explain something. I'm in extreme pain to have to report these disturbing allegations. Why? Because I myself am an Evangelical Christian. I am among tne of the 30% Progressive Evangelical Christians of the same ilk as Jim Wallace of Sojourners or Tony Campolo or the folks at LiberalsLikeChrist, or the UCC running their inclusivity ads right now. My heroes other than Jesus are C.S. Lewis, Detrich Bonhoeffer, MLK, Bishop Tutu, and Gandhi. I have extensive ties and history also with my more conservative and even fundamentalist Christian Evangelical bretheren and sisteren and am no knee-jerk liberal. Other heroes of mine include Billy Graham, Jim Elliot and many others. It is deeply ingrained in me to try to walk the middle way, the "via media" as the Anglican church calls it. Therefore as a "radical moderate" and Born Again believer in Jesus I have ties across the board with Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic as well as Protestant, Charismatic and Pentacostal. I believe in the full body of Christ working together, no matter what the denominational stylistic concerns to reflect God's love to all people everywhere. Therefore I can not help but regard at least the sincere believers that are caught up in this craziness as misguided brothers and sisters of mine. It gives me absolutely NO PLEASURE whatsoever to call these people out on the carpet. My attitude is consistently to give folks the benefit of the doubt until they earn distrust. I was even reluctant to oppose the likes of Falwell until his words and actions went so far that I can no longer see how his philosophy, theology and practice are connected with Jesus.

Therefore in this article and in my writing in general I will refrain from calling these folks "Christian" as I don't see the connection between Jesus Christ and what they are up to. I do not wish to judge their salvation state, but I must call into question their thinking and acting which is endangering the underpinnings of our constitutional democracy. Therefore throughout my writings on these groups of people I will not honor them with terms like "Christian" or "Evangelical" or even "Fundamentalist" anything, but rather pin them with titles I think more accurately portray their far, far out extremeist views, like "Wackiligious" or at most "Religious Right." Probably the most accurate term is simply "Dominionist", or Reconstructionist. I know all too well that by far most folks in the Evangelical and even Fundamentalist camps have nothing to do with these wackos and have probably never even heard of them as even I hadn't until recently. Like all groups the right wing of the Christian church is a subspectrum of the larger spectrum of Christians and it would be grossly unfair, innacurate and destructive if we were to paint everyone on the right side of the aisle with a single broad brush. Its the Dominionists that are the problem here. Admittedly they are having an effect way beyond their numbers by hijacking the right. So if we can precisely target this particular dangerous strain we can win friends and influence people without alienating and destroying the millions of innocent conservatives completely unaware of this insidious disease. We must avoid "collateral damage" in our incinderiary bomb throwing.

If readers will do research into Dominionism they'll find out just how nutty these wackiligious types are and how dangerous their ideas could be. I have some starter references below in this article. Researching the NeoCons and PNAC will yeild similar fright. Unfortunately these are the folks that are in power right now and may have gotten there through fraudulent means.

The Prison Connection:
The place that these three strains may come together ironically is in prison! Many may recall the prison ministries of Chuck Colson and others. It severely depresses me to speculate that it may just possible that impressionable newly Born Agains in prisons are being recruited. Recruited and swept back into nefarious plots to force-function their literalistic understanding of the End Times, the Anti-Christ and the Millenium and The Rapture. More on this connection later...

"The Family" connection:
There is a group called "The Fellowship" or "The Family" which sponsors the national and state Prayer Breakfasts. He said that the group started in the 1930's and over time has grown into a Dominionist power house. He said its managed to keep an extremely low profile while creating an extensive behind the scenes network that reaches into a mind-boggling number of nooks and crannies. He mentioned Meese and Ashcroft as being members. If I remember right I think he mentioned Feeney and De Lay also as being members (and they are prominent drivers behind the election fraud in his view).

Dominionist Role in this:
Madsen is wondering if we can help the research effort by digging up connections between the various voting machine companies and the Dominionists. For example Rapp with Triad, O'Dell with Diebold and Ahmanson of ES&S. We can help him and our selves by exploring any possible Dominionist connections with these members of the voting machine Co.s.

Looking at one of the FBI e-mails the ACLU has obtained by FoIA I encourage you to look at it for yourself. I found two direct quotes that really opened my eyes:
"The things our personnel witnessed (but did not participate in) were authorized by the President under his Executive Order."
and again:

"We are aware that prior to the revision in policy last week, an Executive Order signed by President Bush authorized the following interrogation techniques among others..." (followed by list of descipable unthinkable techniques that no patriotic American should ever be caught dead involved in).

There's a number of Madsens dots to be connected, but personally I'm most interested in the actual programmer/techs who did the rigging itself, so let me start there. Madsen thinks Russian expats were heavily involved. I'll post on the other "dots" in later diaries.

Here are some points that research has turned up. Some (or possibly even all) of these may turn out to be dead ends.:

The largest employer of Russian expat computer programmers in Houston was Enron.
Rumor has it that some of these programmers/techs worked at Enron before they worked at a subcontractor for Diebold.
Enron files still have contact for these Russians.
Horn is connected to a Bush money tranchant used by Houston politicos.
Horn served as a decoy with the phony $29 Mil check which was supposed to look like it was the money to pay the grumbling unpaid programmer/techs.
Meanwhile in the background NASA Houston contracts were used to funnel money to develop vote rigging software and to pay the Russian programmers via NASA Chief Sean O'Keefe - Cheney's buddy.
There's some kind of connection between Five Star and the programmers who rigged the election.
Native Dallas son Oliver Buck Revell runs Vancouver (BC, CA) based Imagis and there is said to be a connection involving Revell, Imagis, Vancouver and the Diebold Russian election programmers.

I must confess that I do not have the mental facility that a person like Wayne Madsen has to do the whodunnit, clue, connect-the-dots thing. I am good at spotting things that are of significance, but I'm perhaps not the greatest at putting all the points together. I'm slow at some realizations that come naturally and quickly to even maybe most others, and very quick to pick up on things that most others miss. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

:: JamBoi's diary :: So while I have a lot of data from WM, I must be honest and say up front that I don't know how or if these dots will be validated or be deadends or simply fictions. Nevertheless I feel they are far too important to not be examined, so I feel compelled to put them out to be looked at. I'm still learning the best way to communicate that my attitude is one of what I believe to be healthy skepticism. I try to balance both earned trust with self-preserving skepticism. I fully agree that if WM's charges are true they are really far more monstrous than anything I previously would or could have entertained. It would amount to what I'm calling "SloMoCoup II", the first being 2000 (though I realize the implication that other "coups" like JFK may prove out also if this current scandal is true).

So what I'm trying to do here in this blog is to assemble the dots as best I understand them. Some of them no doubt will prove to be unfruitfull dead ends, red herrings, or downright disinformation that others have fed Wayne Madsen. Nevertheless in my contact with WM I have come to trust him at least to the extent that I believe he's got something important to say and its worth at least taking a look at.

I'm still trying to figure out how DK technology works and the community standards, so please have patience with me as I stumble in through your door. I hope I will not serve to bring your standards down but will learn and adapt to your customs here. Please forgive me as I try to "learn your ropes". I will endevour to present the "dots" in a cold, clear, objective analytical light and let the readers take it for what its worth or ignore it as they see fit.

What I want to do in this series (Connecting Madsen's Dots) is to give the overarching themes. That was proved extremely difficult for me to do amongst the dynamic thread message board technology that DU uses and I was hoping to do some of this at Demopedia, but unless/until I recieve posting privileges back there I'll have to do what I can here. I think in some ways this might work even better anyway for certain things so I'll give it whirl.

Getting back to Kantarovich, he would not disclose where the control cards are made, except they aren't made in America, writes Bollyn. Nor would he discuss his previous employment. Bollyn says he got some not-too-thinly-veiled threats from Kantarovich.
Kantarovich sounds more like the Russian mafia, than a legitimate businessman.

Especially enjoyable are the last few paragraphs discussing what Madsen terms "high crimes" that he alleges the * folks have committed. This article focuses primarily on past elections, that lead back to the White House and the Florida governor. Note that Madsen claims the disaffected CIA is behind these leaks in attempt to bring down *.

The story of this corruption is nothing new. What is new is the purpose. The use of this old and covert tranche of money for a special Bush operation to deny the American people their right to a free and fair vote was not the typical illegal sale of arms to a terrorist nation, the overthrow of a foreign government, or the payment of bribes to foreign potentates. It was a high crime in every constitutional sense. The target was the American political system and not just in 2004 but also in 2003, 2002, and 2000. The scandal goes right up to the White House and the Governor's Mansion in Tallahassee. It involves an extremely crooked Florida national politician and other Florida state government officials. And, as with all modern American political scandals, we have at least one dead body, a number of whistleblowers and anonymous "Deep Throats," powerful but corrupt politicians, counterfeit and real documents, con men, and a money trail tied to off-shore foreign bank accounts.

People may wonder why a group of intelligence insiders would come forward to a non-major media outlet with such tantalizing information at this time. The corporate-beholden media cannot be trusted to report such a news story. A common theme from all the intelligence and ex-intelligence officials with whom I have communicated is that George W. Bush made a major mistake in attacking and purging the clandestine service of the CIA. The "agency," which extends far beyond the confines of Langley, Virginia, is having its revenge. It has willingly exposed a portion of a traditional clandestine CIA money route to expose the vote scam that was used to ensure Bush's election.
